What do iPads and The Concours d’Elegance Have In Common?

A Behind the Scenes Look at Exhibitor Technology

Final touches are being made on the finest of the fine luxury automobiles and restorations for the Concours d’Elegance and related events in Pebble Beach from August 16-22.  Festivities kick off for attendees when the engines roar near Seattle on August 9th for the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic.  For exhibitors and others who make the event, THE event, planning has been in play for months.

While vintage, restoration, and collections are the focus of the event, the activities back stage have been running at fever pitch to use technology to maximize the reception, interaction, and follow up with attendees.  One firm immersed behind the scenes is data management guru, MSP.  With a suite of customizable software solutions, MSP has built an application to quickly and accurately store consumer information and appointments in cyberspace so that the one-on-one connections, crucial at these events, can begin instantaneously.

“Gathering the information right so that proper and quick outreach to an interested buyer can take place at the right time is key” notes Andrew Spalding, CEO of MSP.  “Our customers rely on us to help them determine how to collect the appropriate data and incorporate it into the sales process so that their people have the best resources to reach out to prospects” he continues.

MSP’s Gather application has been configured to a key client’s specifications and will integrate data collection with their CRM system. Showcased on iPads for scheduling appointments and demos, attendees will be Gathered during Automotive Week.
